Project information

The North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project (NKSTPP) is a 1980 MW (3×660 MW) coal-fired plant by NTPC Limited in Jharkhand, India, notable for using efficient Supercritical Technology and India’s first large-scale Air-Cooled Condenser (ACC).

The project is being developed and currently owned by NTPC. The company has a stake of 100%.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is executing the EPC contract for the project.

We are responsible for executing the plant’s comprehensive illumination package, encompassing the TG area, Boilers, CHP, Switchyard, and all other operational areas.
