Project information

The Suratgarh Super Thermal Power Plant is 2 x 660 MW coal fired power project.

The project is developed and currently owned by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam. The company has a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be coal. In case of shortage of coal the plant will run on Oil.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is the executing the EPC contract for the project.

We are responsible for executing the plant’s comprehensive illumination package, encompassing the TG area, Boilers, CHP, AHP, Switchyard, and all other operational areas.
